Fé Collective Announces Gala at Bush Hall Championing Emerging Female Artists

A Night for the Art World at Bush Hall

Fé CollectiveBush Hall Bush Hall, 310 Uxbridge Rd, W12 7LJJune 12, 2026June 12, 2026

Fé Collective will present its Gala at Bush Hall on 12 June 2026, bringing together art world and friends to support the next generation of female artists. Conceived as both celebration and intervention, the evening raises funds for the Freshers 2025/26 cohort’s end-of-year exhibition while reimagining the traditional gala as a more inclusive and community-driven format.

Responding to ongoing gender disparities and the continued underrepresentation of women in the art world, the Gala centres and supports the work of emerging female artists. By equipping early-career practitioners, the event underscores the importance of collective support and access at a formative stage in artistic careers.

The gala is conceived and creatively directed by the Freshers 2025/26 cohort, placing emerging artists at the heart of both the programme and its production. Adopting the theme of 'Dark Rococo'–a contemporary reimagining of opulence and theatricality–the evening will unfold as an immersive environment of music, performance, and visual intervention. DJs and performances by the participating artists will transform Bush Hall’s Edwardian interiors into a space of collective expression and experimentation.

Staged at Bush Hall, the event also engages with the venue’s enduring legacy as one of London’s independent cultural hubs. Celebrating its 25th anniversary of its restoration in 2001, Bush Hall has remained a vital site for artistic production and community gathering. The Gala contributes to this ongoing narrative, aligning with the venue’s commitment to resilience and creative exchange.

Guests are invited to participate not just as attendees, but as active contributors to a redefined cultural space. Through dress, presence, and participation, audiences are encouraged to reclaim the visual language of the gala into something more open, playful, and representative of the wider creative community. Proceeds from the evening directly support Fé Collective’s Freshers initiative, reinforcing its commitment as a Community Interest Company to reinvest in artists and cultural workers.
